“Thank you so much for your support over the last few months and guidance in terms of helping Sarah ease back into the routine of attending her home school. It was so helpful to be able to bounce ideas around with you and understand how we could best support her with this transition.

I’d also like to thank the other members of the team who have supported Sarah. School has provided that much needed structure, focus away from food and helped her continue to learn.
We really appreciate your willingness to support and liaise with the School post discharge.
Thank you once again.”

“I just wanted to let you know that yesterday’s session went unexpectedly well from Jo’s point of view.

Beforehand, Jo had said to me that she thought she might have the energy for a very short lesson – maybe 5 mins. Afterwards she commented that because your staff were so easy to be with it meant she could participate for a lot longer (I think it was maybe 30 mins in the end?)

Well done on doing so well choosing topics to engage her but at the same time being so calm and responsive. She obviously felt safe and seen and is likely to be less daunted next time.

With our thanks.”

“The teachers have been amazing from day 1, they have made such a difference to Eva’s education and well-being. Their smiles and manner mean they are secure adults for her and she is like a different child. She wants to learn. She wants to study. The painting lesson on the common was the educational highlight for the past 2 years.”

“Thank you for your flexibility. Nothing has been too much. You just don’t get provisions like these elsewhere.”

“Dear St.George’s Teaching Team,

We can’t thank you enough for providing a lovely school environment for our son whilst he was on the ward. He absolutely loved going to your school and learning, and was so upset to miss his usual school routine whilst he was in hospital for such a long time. He was delighted that you had the fun, interest and maths games that he loved, gave him a break from his bed, lent him books and games and engaged him so kindly. From painting socks to a virtual museum visit, you helped him to keep a sense of who he was and what he liked.

Thank you again from us and Edward.”

“Please send on our deepest, heartfelt thanks to all the teaching team. Those results are beyond our best hopes and I could see just how excited and proud she is by them! This is a glimmer which I hope might ignite a flame for the future. 🤞🏻

Either way, she is clearly absolutely thrilled – as are we – and we really want to thank you all so much for the support and patience you have provided.

Thanks are simply not enough 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.”
